Do NOT buy this book!

LOVE this book - Recently started teaching a sales class at work for my team, and came across this text the second week into it.
Made me seriously stop and rethink if I should try to re-launch the class around some of the amazing research in this book. Incredibly helpful and insightful. Makes me hate to recommend the book because a lot of the tools and insight from the text is so good, helpful, and proven to work that I wouldn't want anyone else to use it.

A must have for anyone serious about studying persuasion!

This book far exceeded my expectations. What I loved most about this book is that often times when I read a book on a topic I am familiar with I feel like I'm just reading the same information recycled. This book on the other hand, even though it is short, packed a punch! It had so many things I wasn't familiar with and I found myself not wanting to put the book down. Although I realized that may have been the authors doing since I was also highlighting the book more than I typically do as well. This is definitely a must have for anyone that wants to become an expert in influence and persuasion'.

Great for sales and teaching

As a publisher who creates learning materials, there is great info here for subtle ways to present material so it will readily stick with the student. One thing to take note of is the attachment principle presented towards the end of the book.
As a publisher who also wants to increase sales of their products, I also found the persuasion techniques as applied to sales very helpful. Even though I have been marketing online for a very long time, I picked up some points that I can apply to my website and social media marketing efforts.
